Neeta Dadwe previously guided India to gold medals.
The Asian Games are less than a month away, and Kabaddi is India’s most successful sport in this tournament.
India have historically dominated the kabaddi events at the Asian Games in both the men’s and women’s categories, with the men’s team winning 8 gold medals and the women’s team winning 3.
The squads for both the men’s and women’s teams have been announced. Pushpa Rana will lead the Indian women’s kabaddi team at the 2026 Asian Games, replacing Ritu Negi. India will be defending their gold medal, but they have two strong opponents, Iran and Chinese Taipei.
Iran defeated India to win gold at the 2018 Asian Games. On the other hand, Chinese Taipei are emerging as a strong team, having lost the 2022 Asian Games final to India by just one point.
With the challenge increasing, the Indian team need someone who can guide them to the gold medal. Now, the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India has announced the two best coaches for the Indian women’s team for the Asian Games 2026.
