PKL 12: What will be Bengal Warriorz's starting 7 in Pro Kabaddi 2025?

Bengal Warriorz broke the bank to bring in Devank Dalal in the PKL 12 Auction.
Bengal Warriorz made the biggest headline in the Pro Kabaddi League 12 (PKL 12) auctions by signing last year’s sensation Devank Dalal for Rs. 2.205 cr. The season seven champions were in a transition phase as they decided to let go of their talismanic raider, Maninder Singh.
Bengal Warriorz wanted someone to lead them for the next decade, and the 22-year-old Devank was a perfect fit, having dominated last year in PKL and Senior Nationals. Having retained a few young raiders and recruited a reliable defensive unit, the Warriorz will be a force to reckon with.
Let’s dig into their squad and pick seven players who will be striding out in their opening game in PKL 12.

Young Raiding Unit

The way the Bengal Warriorz went hard to get the services of Devank Dalal shows that the Rohtak-born raider was crucial to their plans for the upcoming seasons. The army man was visibly happy with the number he got and the team he was assigned to. The 22-year-old leading a raiding unit is an exciting prospect.
The season seven champions also retained the likes of Vishwas S and Sushil Kambrekar. The latter started off brilliantly in his debut season last year, but injury meant that he had to be benched. Vishwas S has been with the Warriorz for two years and would want to make it big. These three will be primary raiders, with Jang Kun Lee could be used as a super sub.
Experienced defensive force
Devank might have the spotlight to start, but the quality in the defensive arsenal will surely attract the fans when the season begins. Nitesh Kumar is a solid right corner who has delivered day in and day out. He is set to continue with Mayur Kadam at right cover, as both were retained using FBM cards.
They have added Ashish Malik from Dabang Delhi and Prateek Gulia from Bengaluru Bulls to bolster their defence. The former had two successful seasons with the Dabangs and would look forward to starting a new journey. Prateek on the left cover will be the player to watch out for. His talent is well talked about, and it would be interesting to see how he responds.
Bengal Warriorz predicted starting seven for PKL 12:
