PKL 12: Top five best players of Bengaluru Bulls in Pro Kabaddi 2025

Bengaluru Bulls have formed a team of young players for PKL 12.
Bengaluru Bulls had a disastrous Pro Kabaddi League season 11. They finished last with the least effective performances, losing 19 out of 22 matches. As a result, the management took major decisions ahead of Season 12.
Season 6 champions have let go of their head coach, Randhir Singh Sehrawat, who held the position for 11 seasons. Apart from this, the franchise has also released their frontline players, Pardeep Narwal, Ajinkya Pawar, Jai Bhagwan, Nitin Rawal, and Parteek, who were a vital part of their previous squad.
The new head coach, BC Ramesh, has substituted these players with some new names. Ramesh is a successful coach with a stellar record in PKL. He was the assistant coach of Bengaluru Bulls when they lifted the trophy in season 6. Other than that, he also guided Bengal Warriorz and Puneri Paltan to the cup in seasons 7 and 10, respectively.
With Bengaluru Bulls having built a young squad for the upcoming season, let’s take a look at their top five best players for PKL 12.
5. Pankaj
Pankaj is one of the few players retained by Bengaluru Bulls for PKL 12. He debuted in the previous season for the Bulls and scored 20 raid points in the 13 matches he featured. Although he didn’t perform well, he showcased his skills on a few occasions, which is why the Bulls retained him for the upcoming season.
4. Sanjay Dhull
Sanjay Dhull was part of the 2024 champion team, Haryana Steelers, and played a key role in their victory. Dhull will be Bengaluru Bulls’ right cover in the upcoming season. In PKL 11, Dhull scored 57 tackle points in 24 matches, including 2 High 5s, and 4 crucial super tackles.
3. Akash Shinde
Akash Shinde was an integral part of Puneri Paltan for 4 years. He started his PKL career in season 8. Shinde will be extremely crucial for Bengaluru Bulls in the upcoming season, as he will be their main raider, followed by Pankaj and other young lads.
Although he had a below-average previous season, his new franchise has put its bet on his skills. In his PKL career, Shinde has scored 296 raid points in 57 matches, including 9 Super 10s and 8 Super Raids.
2. Yogesh Dahiya
Yogesh Dahiya is another spectacular addition to the Bulls’ squad. He is also the Bulls’ most expensive buy this season. Dahiya is coming into this season after back-to-back brilliant seasons. He debuted in season 10 for Dabang Delhi and played two seasons for them.
The right corner has 149 tackle points in 45 matches of his PKL career. The Bulls will expect him to have another similar season.
1. Ankush Rathee
Ankush Rathee is going to be the Bulls’ most experienced defender this season. He debuted for the Jaipur Pink Panthers in season 9 and was a spectacular contributor for them in all three seasons. Rathee was the leading scorer of the Pink Panthers’ defence in the previous season.
In his PKL career, Rathee has scored 227 tackle points, including 20 High 5s, and 15 super tackles in 69 matches. On the other hand, he is replacing Nitin Rawal for the Bulls, who was extraordinary in the previous season. It will be interesting to see if he can replace him with better results.
