PKL 12: Major blow for U Mumba ahead of Play-in; Know here

U Mumba will face Patna Pirates in a do-or-die encounter in PKL 12.
The Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) has reached its final stages with the play-in matches scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25.
U Mumba are set to take on the Patna Pirates in the Play-in 2 match at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Saturday.
The Mumbai-based franchise finished sixth in the PKL 2025 points table with 20 points from 18 encounters, including 10 wins and eight losses. On the other hand, the Pirates secured seventh place with 16 points from 18 matches, courtesy of eight wins and 10 losses.
Big blow for U Mumba
Ahead of the all-important knock-out clash, PKL Season 2 champions U Mumba have suffered a major blow. Their star all-rounder Rohit Raghav has been ruled out of the remainder of PKL 12, following an injury he sustained during a raid against the Telugu Titans on October 16.
Rohit came off the bench and earned four points before being subbed off in the 32nd minute. He earned four points, including three touch points and a tackle point. The Indian all-rounder completed three successful raids, two unsuccessful raids, and three empty raids from a total of 13 raids.
U Mumba announced via a social media post, which read: “A timeout for our Super Sub. Wishing Rohit Raghav a speedy recovery.
Rohit Raghav’s numbers in PKL 2025
Rohit Raghav has earned 20 points from nine matches so far in the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. He scored 12 points at an average of 1.33 raids per match from 66 raids with a success rate of 18.18%.
In the defense, the Indian player added eight points, including two Super Tackles and a High 5s. He averaged 0.66 successful tackles from a total of 11 tackles at a success rate of 55%.
Rohit Raghav was among the four players retained by U Mumba following a decent outing in the previous edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. He amassed 79 points (68 raid points and 11 tackle points) from 21 matches in PKL 11 with the Mumbai-based franchise.
