PKL 12: Will Mohit Goyat play against Bengal Warriorz tonight?

Mohit Goyat is yet to feature for Puneri Paltan in PKL 12.
Following the conclusion of the Jaipur leg, the Chennai leg of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) commenced on Monday, September 29, at the SDAT multi-purpose Indoor Stadium. Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan are set to lock horns with Bengal Warriorz in match 56 of the competition on Tuesday, September 30.
Puneri Paltan are placed second in the PKL 2025 points table with 12 points from nine matches, having won six games and lost three. They have a score difference of 51 thus far in the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
The Pune-based franchise got a long break in between, having played their last match against U Mumba on Friday, September 19, at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. They lost the game with a 30-24 margin and finished the second leg of PKL 12 with two wins and a loss.
On the other hand, Bengal Warriorz are 10th in the standings with six points and a score difference of -24. They have registered three wins and five losses from eight encounters in PKL Season 12.
With the return of Puneri Paltan’s star raider Mohit Goyat, Puneri Paltan have received a huge boost ahead of their upcoming clash against the Bengal Warriorz. But the question is, will he play against the Devank Dalal-led side?
Will Mohit Goyat play tonight?
Mohit Goyat missed the Vizag and Jaipur legs of PKL 12 due to an injury he suffered during the pre-season camp. According to Puneri Paltan coach Ajay Thakur, he was undergoing rehabilitation in Mumbai and was expected to join the team once he’s completely match fit.
The PKL Season 10 champions confirmed that Mohit Goyat has regrouped with the other members of the franchise and is training with the team. He has also come to Chennai with other players.
Mohit has recovered from his injury and trained with the squad over the last few days. In this case, he is likely to be seen playing against the Bengal Warriorz on Tuesday. They might use him as a substitute player if they don’t want to rush him with a full game time.
