PKL 12: Mohammadreza Shadloui reacts after getting released by Haryana Steelers before auction

Mohammadreza Shadloui has not been retained by the defending champions.

The defending champions retained nine players before the PKL 12 auction, and Chiyaneh’s absence from that list was a massive shock to the fans and the neutrals.

The decorated defender from Iran has now reacted to the outfit’s decision to release him ahead of the auction for the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League.

He took to Instagram, the highly popular social networking app, to react through emojis, indicating all is good between both parties. Using the “heart shape hands” and “praying hands” emoji, the defender clears the air that both the player and the franchise move forward with positivity.

Mohammadreza Shadloui: A one-man army 

Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh scored 82 tackle points last term, the most by any defender in the league. Winning the 11th edition of the league was the second successive title triumph for the Iranian powerhouse after he guided the Puneri Paltan to their maiden PKL title.

It is unclear what the strategy behind releasing a champion like Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh is. Many sections of the Haryana Steelers fans fear that the decision could backfire when the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League begins.
