PKL 12: Three teams that can buy Pawan Sehrawat in auction

Telugu Titans released Pawan Sehrawat ahead of the PKL 12 auction.

Pawan Sehrawat is one of the best raiders in Pro Kabaddi League‘s history. He ranks third among the raiders with 1318 raid points in 139 matches. Sehrawat has been a fabulous asset for any team he has played for. However, his injuries have become a matter of concern over the last few years.

Pawan Sehrawat missed many matches last season due to injury, which might be the reason Telugu Titans released him ahead of the season 12 auction. Pawan had an average season in 2024 because of a long injury. He scored 129 raid points in 13 matches. Hi-flyer is known for his ability to score big points.

No one can deny the immense confidence and strength he brings to a team. Even in the last season, he scored 8 Super-10s out of the 13 matches he played. Despite the injury, he had a decent run in the other matches. With his experience and impressive record, he will get a big deal in the upcoming auction.

3. Jaipur Pink Panthers

Jaipur Pink Panthers are two-time PKL champions. In the last season, they struggled immensely because of the absence of a second raider. Now they have released Arjun Deshwal as well, on whom they might not use the FBM card anymore.

In such a situation, they need an experienced and powerful raider, and who can be better than Pawan Sehrawat. His experience and capabilities are exactly what they lacked in the previous season. If they can bag Sehrawat and regain their defensive strength in the auction, they might become the team to look for in PKL 12.

2. Bengaluru Bulls

Pawan Sehrawat has played five seasons for the Bengaluru Bulls in his PKL career. He was most successful for the franchise with his immaculate performances. Sehrawat has scored 977 points in 95 matches throughout the 5 seasons.

The Bulls had a dreadful previous season and must be looking to rebuild their team under their new coach, BC Ramesh. Hi-flyer made his debut with the Bulls, and they might once again try to bring him back for the forthcoming season.

Pawan Sehrawat has been a part of the Telugu Titans for the last two seasons. He has added immense value to the team with his leadership and as a player. Sehrawat scored 331 raid points in 34 matches, averaging nearly 10 points per match.

Although he was released before the auction, there is a possibility that the Titans may add him back through the FBM card. Pawan Sehrawat is one of the biggest raiders who will go under the hammer this year. It will be interesting to see which team gets the highest bid.
