PKL 12: What will be Telugu Titans' starting 7 in Pro Kabaddi 2025?

Telugu Titans have retained a chunk of their core from PKL 11.
Even after eleven seasons of the PKL, the title drought is not over. With one of the biggest fan bases among all teams, the Telugu Titans are the only team from the inaugural edition that have yet to lift the trophy.
Telugu have not qualified for the playoffs since the fourth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League! That rut could have potentially ended last time, with the Titans having started the season very well. However, they struggled to string together a series of victories.
A fluctuating form and Pawan Sehrawat’s fitness problems saw them finish seventh in the league table, one place behind the playoffs zone. The Hyderabad-based franchise played out twelve wins and ten losses.
The management has seen a ray of sunshine. They have backed Krishan Kumar Hooda to continue as the Head Coach for the second successive season. With many familiar faces, let’s take a look at the Titans’ probable starting 7 for PKL 12.
Utility raiders-
The Telugu Titans decided to bid farewell to Pawan, despite him being available at a low price for the Final Bid Match (FBM) Card. Instead, they rewarded Vijay Malik for his recent performances. The all-rounder had stepped up as the lead raider last time in the absence of their marquee player.
He eventually ended as the sixth-best raider with 172 raid points. As a result, the Titans used one of their FBM Cards to sign him back.
They have also made another massive signing in the form of Bharat Hooda, at a whopping price of Rs. 81 lakhs. After a stunning campaign in PKL 9 for the Bengaluru Bulls, he couldn’t maintain it in the next two editions (for the Bulls followed by the UP Yoddhas). However, looking at the intense bidding for him, it is clear that many teams still believe in his potential.
The Men in Yellow also made a steal deal, utilizing the FBM on Ashish Narwal at a paltry sum of Rs. 15.70 lakhs. He was in great form last season, racking up 120 raid points.

Familiar faces in defence-
The Titans appear to have settled on their defensive combinations. While the corner duo comprises two senior players, the cover pairing is identical to the one last season.
Shubham Shinde was their second most expensive buy at the auction, after Bharat. They paid a massive sum of Rs. 80 lakhs to secure his services. This is a reward for the consistent performances he has shown over the last few years, first for Bengal Warriorz and then for Patna Pirates.
Aman Antil was purchased at the base price, right at the end of the auction. He could be an X-factor for them, considering he has scored more than 50 tackle points in three of the last four editions.
The right cover-left cover pairing of Sagar Rawal and Ajit Pawar were retained before the auction. While they didn’t set the mat on fire, both were reasonably consistent in their returns. The Telugu Titans will be hoping to make a strong start in the competition when it begins next month.
Telugu Titans predicted starting seven for PKL 12:
Raiders – Ashish Narwal.
All Rounders– Vijay Malik, Bharat Hooda.
Defenders – Shubham Shinde (Right Corner), Aman Antil (Left Corner), Sagar Rawal (Right Cover), Ajit Pawar (Left Cover).
