PKL 12: Top five best players of Telugu Titans in Pro Kabaddi 2025

Telugu Titans let go of their main raider, Pawan Sehrawat, after PKL 11.

Telugu Titans showcased one of the best performances in their Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history in the previous season. Although they missed the playoff spot by a thin margin, the fierce competition they provided throughout the season was commendable.

It was for the first time after season 4 that they reached so close to qualification. However, stepping into the next season, the fans and team management would be hoping for an even better result.

Krishan Kumar Hooda has been given the duty of guiding the Titans once again as the head coach. Hooda has begun his duties for PKL 12 and put together a squad to lift their first PKL trophy. After retaining Pawan Kumar Sehrawat for two consecutive years, the Titans let go of their former captain ahead of PKL 12 and will be moving forward with a new captain and a new set of raiders.

In the newly constructed squad, they have given space for some new match winners who might do the trick for the franchise.

5. Aman Antil

Left corner defender Aman Antil will be playing for Telugu Titans for the first time in PKL 12. He made his Pro Kabaddi debut in season 7 for the Bengaluru Bulls and produced some excellent outcomes for the team as a left corner.

Since his debut, Aman has played 4 seasons for the Bulls and a season for Puneri Paltan. In his career of 78 matches, Aman has scored 188 tackle points, including 9 High 5s, and 12 super tackles. He had a pretty good PKL 11, where he clinched 52 tackle points, including 5 High 5s in just 16 matches.

4. Shubham Shinde

Shubham Shinde is another defender roped in by Telugu Titans for the upcoming season. Shinde is a right corner defender and has played 106 matches in his PKL career. He has scored 207 tackle points, including 9 High 5s and 18 super tackles. He was a part of the runners-up, Patna Pirates, in season 11 and scored 56 tackle points in 22 matches.

3. Ashish Narwal

Ashish Narwal stepped up at the right time in the previous season when the team needed him the most. Whether it be the absence of Pawan Sehrawat or when the team was nearing an all-out, Narwal was the man to take the responsibility.

Narwal scored 120 raid points and 18 tackle points in PKL 11 and proved to be a crucial asset for the team throughout the season. As a result, Telugu Titans used FBM for 1 season to retain Ashish Narwal for 15.70 lakhs.

2. Bharat Hooda

Bharat Hooda is one of the best buys of the Telugu Titans in the PKL 12 auction. Hooda is going to be the crucial player for the Titans in season 12. As an all-rounder, he has been in the Pro Kabaddi for quite some time now, and makes a powerful impact on the opposition.

He had a below-average season 11 and scored 102 raid points and 14 tackle points. In his PKL career, Hooda has 599 raid points, including 28 Super 10s, and 37 tackle points, with his best season being PKL 9, where he scored 279 raid points.

1. Vijay Malik

Vijay Malik will have a lot of eyes on him in PKL 12. It hasn’t been announced yet, but Malik is probably going to be Telugu Titans’ captain for the upcoming season. He captained the side in the absence of Pawan Sehrawat in the previous season and led them splendidly. Malik’s leading capabilities and his raiding prowess make him one of the best players to watch out for in PKL 12.

Malik scored 172 raid points, including 7 Super 10s and 11 tackle points. Whereas in his overall PKL career, Malik scored 581 raid points, including 18 Super 10s and 92 tackle points, including 92 tackle points, making him the best all-rounder in the squad.

Telugu Titans have rectified the mistakes they committed in creating the squad in the previous season and have made a much more balanced side this season. The inclusion of Shubham Shinde and Aman has made their defence much better. Similarly, the addition of Bharat Hooda has kept their attack intact going into the upcoming season.
