Women's Kabaddi World Cup 2025 Points Table after Day 2

The Indian women’s team placed second in the Group A points table of the Kabaddi World Cup 2025.
The Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 is underway in Dhaka, Bangladesh. So far, there have been two days of exciting matches, with a total of eight games played. 11 teams are participating in this second edition of the tournament. They are divided into two groups, five teams in Group A and six teams in Group B.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals and compete for a spot in the final. So far, five teams have played twice, while the others have played once.

The competition is heating up with some teams already showing strong performances, while others are still trying to find their rhythm. Now, every match is becoming increasingly important, as teams strive to collect as many points as possible to remain in the race for the semi-finals.

Group A Points Table
Five teams are in Group A. Hosts Bangladesh are currently at the top of the table with two wins in 2 matches and have 4 points. They registered convincing victories against Uganda and Germany and have also shown great balance in both attack and defence.

Defending champions, India, are in second place with 1 win in 1 match and have 2 points to their name; their dominant win came against Thailand. Uganda are in third position with 0 points, followed by Germany, also on 0 points, both teams still searching for their first victory of the tournament.
Thailand sits at the bottom of the table, also with 0 points, and will be hoping to bounce back in their upcoming games.

Group B Points Table
There are six teams in Group B. The previous World Cup silver medallist, Iran, currently tops Group B with 4 points, having won both matches with dominant performances.
Behind them in second position are Nepal with 2 points, showing strong form after their convincing opening win. At third place is Zanzibar, also with 2 points in 2 games. They created history by defeating Poland on the second day, marking their first-ever victory in the history of the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup.
Chinese Taipei sits in fourth position with 2 points as well, but they have played only one match so far and are expected to climb further. Kenya and Poland are in fifth and sixth positions, respectively, with no points to their name yet, and both teams will be eager to register their first win in the upcoming matches.
