Puneri Paltan remains in first place at the end of Day 7 of PKL 12.

Telugu Titans went home as a happy side today after securing their first win of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 12). The Titans emerged victorious after facing two back-to-back defeats in their opening two encounters.

Vijay Malik and Bharat led the way from the front with eight points each, while Ajit Pawar put up a strong defensive performance to help the Titans get past the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

The second game was possibly the most entertaining and nail-biting encounter in this edition of the PKL so far. Puneri Paltan came back from behind to register a one-point lead in the tie until Sachin Tanwar’s schoolboy mistake helped Dabang Delhi get the score on level terms.

After a score of 5-5 in the tiebreaker, Delhi were given the chance to execute the golden raid, and Ashu Malik made no mistake in handing Puneri Paltan their first defeat of the season.

At the end of the seventh day, Puneri Paltan are still at the top of the table with six points in four games. The UP Yoddhas remain in second with two points. Dabang Delhi climbed to the third spot with four points. U Mumba have slipped down to the fourth position with two points.

Bengal Warriorz are now positioned fifth with two points in two games. Tamil Thalaivas are now ranked sixth with two points in as many games, while the Jaipur Pink Panthers have dropped down to seventh with two points.

Telugu Titans have climbed to the eighth spot following their win tonight, while the Haryana Steelers have dropped down to the ninth spot with two points. Patna Pirates have further dropped down to tenth. Bengaluru Bulls and Gujarat Giants are in the last two spots.

Devank Dalal continues to lead the most raid points list of PKL 12 with 38 points in two games. Aditya Shinde is ranked second with 32 raid points.

Vijay Malik is now ranked third with 27 points in three games, followed by Nitin Kumar at fourth with 26 points. Ajit Chouhan has dropped down to the fifth position with 26 raid points.

Sumit Sangwan has been relegated to the third position with thirteen points in two games. Lokesh Ghosliya is now ranked fourth with 11 tackle points. Vishal Bharadwaj completes the top five with nine tackle points in four games.
