Friday’s first game witnessed U Mumba bounce back to winning ways with a dominant performance against the Bengaluru Bulls in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 12).

The former champions produced a 10/10 performance on the mat and defeated the Bulls by a score of 48-28. Ajit Chouhan led the line and scored 13 points while Lokes Ghosliya, Rinku, and Parvesh Bhainswal showed a strong defensive performance.

In the second game, defending champions Haryana Steelers secured their second win by thrashing UP Yoddhas. The reigning champions won the game with a complete team performance and not just individual brilliance. Everyone scored points and constructed a well-thought-out win on the mat.

At the end of the eighth day, Puneri Paltan stay firm at the top of the table with six points in four games. U Mumba have claimed the second position with six points in four games, while Dabang Delhi have come up to the third position with four points.

The UP Yoddhas have dropped down to fourth with four points in hand. The Haryana Steelers have jumped up to the fifth position with four points. Bengal Warriorz are now positioned sixth with two points in two games, while Tamil Thalaivas are now ranked seventh with two points.

Jaipur Pink Panthers have slipped to eighth place with two points. Telugu Titans are now ranked ninth with two points. Patna Pirates, Bengaluru Bulls, and Gujarat Giants are placed tenth, eleventh, and twelfth, respectively.

Top five raiders after Match 16 of PKL 12:

Ajit Chouhan is leading the most raid points list of PKL 12 with 39 points in four games. Devank Dalal has been relegated to the second position with 38 raid points in two games.

Aditya Shinde is ranked third with 32 raid points. Gagan Gowda now holds the third position with 34 points in three matches. Vijay Malik is now ranked fifth with 27 points in three games.

The third position is held by Gaurav Khatri, who has 14 tackle points in four games. Gurdeep is now ranked fourth with 13 tackle points. Rinku Sharma completes the top five with ten tackle points in four games.
