The Khelo India University Games 2025 will be held from November 24 to December 5 across several venues in Rajasthan. The event is expected to draw more than 5,000 athletes from over 200 universities, who will compete for honours in 23 different sports.
The 2025 edition of the Games will feature 23 sports, including archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, fencing, football, hockey, judo, kabaddi, mallakhamb, rugby, shooting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling, yogasana, cycling, beach volleyball, canoeing and kayaking.
Three sports – beach volleyball, canoeing & kayaking and cycling have been introduced for the first time in history of the annual event, while Kho Kho has been added as a demonstration sport.

In the previous edition held in 2024, Chandigarh University finished at the top of the medals table with 71 medals, including 32 gold, 18 silver and 21 bronze.
Meanwhile, Lovely Professional University from Punjab bagged the second place with 42 medals (20 gold, 14 silver, and 8 bronze). The third place was awarded to Amritsar’s Guru Nanak Dev University. The contingent earned 51 medals, courtesy of 12 gold, 20 silver, and 19 bronze.

The Khelo India India University Games 2025 (KIUG) will take place from November 40 to December 5 across multiple venues in Rajasthan. The tournament will be hosted in Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jodhpur, and Ajmer.
