Khelo India University Games 2025: Updated schedule, medal tally, fixtures, live-streaming details

Beach volleyball, cycling, and canoeing & kayaking will be featured for the first time ever in history of the tournament.
The Khelo India University Games 2025 (KIUG) will take place from November 24 to December 5 in multiple venues across Rajasthan. Over 5,000 athletes and more than 200 universities are expected to compete across 23 medal sports in the competition.
As part of the Khelo India initiative, the event aims to provide a platform for the talented athletes from the universities to prove their merit on the national stage.
Sports like Beach volleyball, canoeing & kayaking and cycling have been introduced for the first time ever in KIUG. Meanwhile, kho-kho will be a demonstration event.
KIUG has a team championship format, where the medals won by the athletes contribute to their respective university’s tally. The last edition in 2024 saw Chandigarh University topping the standings with 71 medals (32 gold, 18 silver and 21 bronze).
