Top 10 most searched sports events on google in Malaysia in 2024

Google year end data keeps coming thick and fast as we draw closer to 2024. This time we delve into the year-end data of sports which you captured the attention of Malaysians.

While some sports were given, seeing their popularity all around the globe. Some sports made the list interesting. now coming to the point, Search list clearly shows while the Local soccer games brought joy to fans both in the country and abroad, UEFA Euro 2024 was one which led the majority searches in the country.

This search information also gives a glimpse that Soccer topped the charts with four out of 10 relating to the world’s favourite sport.

The AFC Asian Cup, a big contest for Asian national teams, came in second showing how much people in the region love soccer. Two specific games with the Malaysian national team, against Oman and Jordan also made the list, which tells us that lots of locals support the Harimau Malaya.

The Indian Premier League (IPL), a well-known Twenty20 cricket league also appeared on the list.
