The official season 2 release date was confirmed by Netflix on their official Instagram post. They posted the classic Dante look and here’s what they wrote as a caption:
This is what they call a heart-warming family reunion. Dante returns in DEVIL MAY CRY: SEASON 2, premiering May 12 on Netflix.
Starting May 12, 2026, we will see a deeper story, Dante’s complicated past and his relationship with his twin brother, Vergil.
The first season ended on a dramatic note, with a hint of an epic clash between the two brothers. The relationship that Vergil has with the world of the demon and also his loyalty to the mighty powers prepare the way for a more emotional and more touching story in the future.
We can expect more mythology in season 2 and exploring the consequences of the first season events and looming threats of the demon world.
There is also no doubt that the rivalry between Dante and Vergil will take the main stage in Devil May Cry Season 2.
