There is no doubt that this game is a sensation when it comes to Roblox. Simple & cozy farming simulator, where you farm & plant seeds and grow your garden.

Don’t let this fool you because people actually love this gameplay. In August 2025, it touched 22.3 million player count, breaking Fortnite’s all-time player count. Earlier in the summer, 30 million players were logged in to this Roblox game.

So, when it comes to popularity, this game has it all. Now, Story Kitchen – the studio fueling Netflix’s Tomb Raider series, Shinobi, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, is ready to develop this into a film adaptation.

Dmitri M. Johnson and Michael Lawrence Goldberg, co-founders of Story Kitchen, issued a statement to Deadline stating:

“Grow a Garden is exactly the kind of imaginative, heartfelt world we love to adapt,” said the duo in the statement, “an uplifting story-world rooted in play, creativity, and community.”
