Thomas Müller's wife made to apologize for her Instagram post

The German's wife bashed the Bayern Munich manager for benching Thomas for a game.
Thomas Müller’s wife, Lisa Müller, sparked a controversy after posting about her husband being left on the bench by Bayern head coach Niko Kovac for the game against Freiburg. However, she later apologised for the same to the Croatian, the club confirmed.
Thomas Müller has seen an uncharacteristic dip in form over the last couple of years. The Germany international has been the cynosure to the criticisms and has had found it tough to get enough playing time like the previous seasons he would.
Bayern had only six wins in the nine games previous before the one against Freiburg and given the poor form of the Germany playmaker, Kovac though it is better to leave the World Cup winner on the bench.
Müller was substituted in at the 70th minute of the game, after which his wife dissented her frustration on Instagram. Her post read, “More than 70 minutes until he finally has a brainwave."
When interrogated about it, Müller tried to play down the situation but the club soon dismissed the issue by releasing a statement that revealed that Müller's wife met Kovac personally and apologised to him and the coach accepted her apology.
"Lisa Muller, the wife of Thomas Muller, went directly after the Bundesliga game against Freiburg in the Allianz Arena to coach Niko and apologised for her Instagram post during the substitution of Thomas Muller," Bayern's statement said.
"Kovac accepted her apology."

Bayern Munich are said to be one of the 11 permanent teams of the to-be-formed Super League. But the president of the Bundesliga club, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, dismissed the rumours and cleared the air by vowing to stay in Bundesliga and the club competitions organised by UEFA.
The Bayern president also claimed that all what ‘Der Spiegel’ claims in its documents are falsehood and that the club isn’t sure why the reports have been reporting their name in all of this.
"'I absolutely and clearly reject this,' Rummenigge declared. 'The vote in favour of the reform agreed between UEFA and the ECA was unanimous.' Neither he nor FC Bayern Munich have ever acted to the detriment of the ECA, Rummenigge stated.
"FC Bayern is also unaware of recent plans for a so-called Super League, also reported by 'Der Spiegel', nor has FC Bayern taken part in negotiations relating to such plans. FC Bayern is also unaware of why it is listed in a document quoted in this context by 'Der Spiegel'.
