Keeping the players from Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur might reap benefits in your Fantasy team this week.

The unbeaten heroes of Pep Guardiola fell at Stanford Bridge after goals from Kante and David Luiz helped Sarri’s Blues get all three points. Manchester United routed Fulham while Liverpool defeated a Wilson-less Bournemouth comprehensively to go top of the table. Arsenal laboured to a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield while Tottenham beat Leicester at the King Power Stadium thanks to goals from Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son.

Gameweek 16 Review

Gameweek 16 had a well-balanced result with the majority of the team contributing to a total share of points. Alisson kept a clean sheet for 6 points while Robertson managed an assist along with his clean sheet to come away with 11 points. Matt Doherty’s goal gave the Wolves defender 7 points while vice-captain Richarlison too had the same amount of points.

Marcos Alonso got 6 points for his clean sheet against Manchester City while Eden Hazard got 9 points for his two assists in the same match. Captain Aubameyang had a 10-point week. However, Aaron-Wan Bissaka and Aleksandar Mitrovic had only one point each while James Maddison and Ryan Fraser too disappointed with two points each. The team finished comfortably above average due to a complete all-around return in terms of points.

Gameweek 17 Transfers

Special considerations should be given to the transfers this week, as GW 17 marks the beginning of FPL Cup. It is the appropriate time to use the Free Hit if needed.

Gerard Deulofeu’s dip in form is a cause for inquiry. The Watford midfield has failed to be consistent and therefore is removed. Possible candidates for replacement are fellow Watford midfielders Roberto Pereyra and Abdoulaye Doucoure. However, keeping current form and favourable fixtures in mind, West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass is chosen to replace the Spaniard.

Callum Wilson can also be transferred as he is unlikely to feature this week. Possible players who can replace him are Brighton’s Glenn Murray and Wolverhampton’s Raul Jimenez.

The team lines up in a 3-5-2. Alisson starts in goal despite having a fixture against Manchester United. Matthew Ryan drops to the bench as Brighton face Chelsea this week. Marcos Alonso, Aaron-Wan Bissaka and Matt Doherty start in defence with Aymeric Laporte and Andrew Robertson moving to the bench. Captain Eden hazard starts in midfield along with Ryan Fraser, Robert Snodgrass, James Maddison and Richarlison. Callum Wilson’s injury pushes him into the bench allowing Aleksandar Mitrovic and vice-captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to start.

Anfield will see the classic battle between Liverpool and Manchester United, with the hosts seeking to maintain their position in the top of the table. Southampton face Arsenal at home, while Brighton welcome Chelsea to the Amex Stadium. Tottenham take on Burnley at home while Manchester City will look to go back to the winning ways when Everton arrives at the Etihad.
