FPL Guru: How your team should look like for Gameweek 8
Bearing in mind their upcoming fixtures, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Callum Wilson will be interesting options to keep in the team.
The match of the week was an enthralling affair with Chelsea denied all three points and a clean sheet after Daniel Sturridge drew Liverpool level during the dying minutes of the game. In the other part of London, at the Olympic Stadium, the red part of Manchester showed no signs of improvement as they crashed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of West Ham. Arsenal made it five wins in a row as they overcame Watford in the Emirates Stadium. Manchester City and Tottenham also came away with three points from their outings.
Gameweek 7 Review
Gameweek 7 provided meagre returns, which was nullified partially by captain Sergio Aguero’s performances. The Argentine scored for Manchester City against Brighton and also got two bonus points for his efforts against the Seagulls. He had a total of 16 points. Callum Wilson and James Maddison had 5 and 6 points respectively owing to their assists in the games against Crystal Palace and Newcastle respectively. However, the remaining eight players in the team combined to give only 15 points, as all three defenders failed to impress. The three of them only had a total of 5 with goalkeeper David De Gea’s disappointing outing against West Ham giving him only 1 point. A disheartening Gameweek with very few positives.

Gameweek 8 Transfers
Burnley’s James Tarkowski only has a 75% chance of playing next week. He can be replaced with Watford’s Jose Holebas. The full-back has a decent run of fixtures coming up and comes in cheap also.
High flying Eden Hazard can also be brought in for Mohamed Salah. He costs lesser than Salah and has given much more solid returns in his outings than the Egyptian.
This week, however, I have decided to not make any transfers.

Gameweek 8 Line-up
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]The 3-4-3 formation remains unchanged. David De Gea retains his first eleven spot in goal, with Mathew Ryan taking up his usual spot on the bench. Marcos Alonso, Aron-Wan Bissaka and Steve Cook also retain their spots. Andrew Robertson’s Liverpool faces a tough task at home against defending champions Manchester City, which sees him dropping to the bench, along with James Tarkowski. Lucas Moura is made the vice-captain as his Tottenham team have an easy outing against Cardiff. Mohamed Salah, James Maddison and Richarlison complete the midfield. Ruben Neves joins the two defenders on the bench. All three strikers start with Callum Wilson made the captain because of his relatively easy game against Watford. Aleksandar Mitrovic faces Arsenal while Sergio Aguero has a very difficult fixture against Liverpool.
All eyes are on Merseyside this Gameweek as Liverpool welcome the defending champions Manchester City to their fortress. The battle between the one and the two has the potential to be entertaining and nerve-wracking. A thrilling Gameweek awaits.
