Real Kashmir sign Mason Robertson from Peterhead FC
The tactician has lured the centre-back from Scotland and convinced him to play for the Leopards in the I-League.
Amidst all the FIFA World Cup hoopla, the Indian football season is closing in and teams are gradually gearing up for the new campaign. Speaking of the Indian football season, there is a brand new member in the family as the newly-promoted Real Kashmir will join the I-League this time around. The Leopards from Kashmir had a fairy-tale journey to the top league in India and now manager David Robertson and his men are up for the challenge.
Robertson who was an ex-Rangers player has convinced his son, Mason to join him at Real Kashmir. The youngster was at Peterhead FC, a team in Scottish League Two.
Mason Robertson completed his college educayion in the USA and joined Stenhousemuir FC, a team in Scottish League One. The youngster's talent impressed Peterhead's manager Jim McInally as he snapped him up last summer.
The 23-year-old had trials with Championship sides like Dundee United and Queen of the South before joining Stenhousemuir FC. His stint at Stenhousemuir earned him a trail opportunity at Kilmarnock FC. With the trial at Rugby Park the youngster started settling into senior football and eventually joined Peterhead FC.

[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]He impressed with his performances at Peterhead and after plying his trade for 37 games, he had a new contract from his manager and the Toons were expecting him to remain with the club.
But, with the turn of events, the young centre-back will be joining his father at the Srinagar-based club, as they celebrate their first season in the I-League after they won the I-league 2nd Division, defeating Hindustan FC 3-2 in the final to gain promotion.
