Indian Player Ratings: Michael Soosairaj and Redeem Tlang shine, Sumeet Passi disappoints
While the Highlanders beefed up their attack throughout the match the Men of Steel were equally resolute defensively.
It was a battle of the midfield as Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United shared the spoils on Saturday evening at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

A cagey game of football that had plenty of drama and action between @JamshedpurFC and @NEUtdFC ended goalless at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. More videos: https://t.co/8jtqJIjojH#ISLRecap #HeroISL #LetsFootball #JAMNEU #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/RZEFow3tt2

Watch: Paul used his experience to his advantage
The 'Spiderman' as he is fondly called, didn't have any adventurous missions to work on as NEUFC's brilliant attacking build-up play was dismantled by his side's defensive spearheads lead by Tiri. He saved the lone shot on target managed by Federico Gallego in the second half.
Pratik Chowdhary - 5.5
Made his fifth start of the season. The right centre-back was selected in place of the injured Raju Gaikwad by coach Cesar Ferrando and he didn't disappoint. He kept the danger away when NorthEast looked more offensive against Jamshedpur in their backyard. Was substituted at the interval.
Bikash Jairu - 6.0

Watch: The left-back played his part in the defensive line
The Men of Steel left-back played his part in the defensive line keeping Jamshedpur's unbeaten record at home intact. He managed to see off the trouble caused by Redeem Tlang and Rowllin Borges' aggressive moves carefully.
Robin Gurung - 7.0
His swift pace was there for all to see. His thought process, his temperament was tremendous as he executed those hard tackles brilliantly, stealing the ball from NEUFC's possession, thereby helping his side restart play.
Sumeet Passi - 5.5
Had an average outing against NEUFC at the Furnace. Didn't do much to brighten his team's chances on the points table. To put it in another way, he wasn't much utilized as the ball didn't fall in the right areas at the right time. Was replaced by Farukh on the hour mark.
Michael Soosairaj - 7.5
Was electric right from the first whistle and gave a tough time to Provat Lakra and Tlang, both of whom were cautioned for their challenges on Soosairaj. He was an ever-present figure on JFC's left flank, adding more flare in attack. He tried a few crosses inside the NorthEast box, but they didn't have the power to find the target often.
Substitutes
Mohammad Mobashir - 5.5

Watch: The youngster attempted a fantastic volley at goal
Came on for Pratik Chowdhary after the interval. The 19-year-old midfielder was energetic and tried hard to cut in deep inside the NorthEast defence and help his team break the deadlock.
Farukh Choudhary - 5.5
Replaced Sumit Passi on the hour mark, as Jamshedpur switched on all engines in search of that one lucky break.

NorthEast United
Pawan Kumar - 6.0
The NEUFC custodian didn't face any shot on target, as Jamshedpur's frontline was too lethargic to display their bravery in front of their home crowd. Overall, pretty little to do for the NorthEast goalkeeper.
Robert Lalthlamuana - 6.0
Gave the centre-halves space to expand and extend the backline as he played as a wide wing-back, at times away from his regular role. Countered Pablo Morgado's efforts to regain the ball.
Provat Lakra - 6.5
Started ahead of Reagan Singh, with coach Eelco Schattorie opting to rest players ahead of upcoming home matches. Looked nervous and out of his comfort zone at times, but made up for his errors with good blocks and tackles.
Rowllin Borges - 6.5
Played his role very ably in breaking down the opposition tempo and cutting short their forward runs. The India international was brilliant at intercepting Jamshedpur's well-knit passes when they looked smart on the ball.
Khawlhring Lalthathanga - 6.5
Made a bright start to the game, as NEUFC looked to dominate possession early on. Puitea was a great cast in the NEUFC play as he linked the defence with the attack well. He showed his maturity despite his young age and the Men of Steel's midfield was equally wary of his abilities.
Redeem Tlang - 7.0
Worked magic with his brilliant runs and excellent footwork beating his markers on the right flank. The likes of Bikash Jairu and Tiri, however, swayed off the danger from the little man from Meghalaya. He put in some brilliant crosses which fell just short of his teammates upfront.
Substitutes
Nikhil Kadam - 6.0
Came in for Tlang in the 68th minute, as Schattorie opted for fresh legs to fuel the wing play. He played a brilliant one-two with skipper Bartholomew Ogbeche late in the second half, but couldn't create an opening.
