Indian Player Ratings: Romeo Fernandes powers Delhi to a win against Pune with a goal and assist
(Courtesy : ISL Media)
Midfielder Vinit Rai also had a good outing with a brilliant performance.
Delhi Dynamos coasted past Pune City at the Balewadi Stadium with ease, courtesy of a 1-3 scoreline. Daniel Lalhlimpuia, Romeo Fernandes and Lalianzuala Chhangte were the goalscorers for the away side, while Nikhil Poojary scored the only goal for the home team. With all the playoffs positions occupied, the game was of little importance, but turned out to be an exciting one.

Watch: Pune 1-3 Delhi, Goals and Highlights
Below are the ratings of Indian players involved in the game:
FC Pune City
Kamaljit Singh - 5.0
Kamaljit had to deal with 19 shots! This, in itself, should tell the story of the game. He was dealing with a young, pacey Delhi Dynamos attack that was all over the home team. The three goals didn't have the goalkeeper's 100%, and Kamaljit could definitely have done more to keep the away side within reach of Pune City, especially fior the third goal.
Sarthak Golui - 5.5
Better of the two Pune full-backs for the day, Golui covered his flank quiet well, although goals did fly into the back of the net from the right. The full-back wasn't on top of his game disciplinarily as well, getting booked for a rash challenge. He ended with four tackles and four clearances.
Sahil Panwar - 5.5
Sahil's day went horribly wrong right after the first cross that was put into his side's box. His flank was dominated by the Delhi wingers and full-backs and he was left anonymous on the field for most of the game. He wasn't contributing to the attack as well, putting in just one cross.
Rohit Kumar - 6.0

Watch: The midfielder did come close to scoring though his shot
Rohit and his colleagues were no match to their Delhi counterparts and he made just 35 passes throughout the 96 minutes of his stay on the pitch. The midfielder did come close to scoring though his shot, which was dealt well with by the travelling side.
Nikhil Poojary - 6.5
Nikhil's goal was the only notable thing that he did throughout the game. But, credit has to be given where it's due - the player's run for the goal was an exceptional one and reminded everyone of the talent that the winger possesses. Except for the goal, Nikhil put in just one cross into Delhi's box.
Ashique Kuruniyan - 4.0
It was not the day of the Indian international. The youngster started well, but an injury saw his time cut short. He was replaced in the 37th minute by Nim Dorjee Tamang.
Robin Singh - 5.0
Robin Singh finally had a poor day! The attacker was sensational in the previous two games and was expected to be in this one as well, but he went missing throughout for Pune, who continued to attack through the flanks, with their talisman doing little from the middle. Robin had just one shot throughout the game.
Substitutions
Nim Dorjee Tamang - 5.5
Nim was called way too early into the game to replace the injured Kuruniyan. But, the midfielder had very little impact on the game and was made to chase the ball throughout his stay by the Delhi midfield. He was replaced by Shankar Shampingraj.

Delhi Dynamos
Rana Gharami - 6.5
It was an improved outing for Rana Gharami. He was heavily involved in the continuous build-up play on the right wing of the Delhi side. He contributed well both defensively and offensively, clearing four balls and putting two crosses into the opposition box.
Narayan Das - 6.0
Narayan Das was the architect of the win in the previous game for Delhi, as he was a continuous threat on the right wing of the opposition. But, the game against Pune saw a dip in his contribution offensively. Also, the only goal scored against Delhi was after Poojary cut in well from his flank. He could have done better.
Vinit Rai - 7.0
.@vinit_vr was @DelhiDynamos' midfield metronome as the Lions romped to 3⃣ points in Pune! He is the Hero of the Match from #PUNDEL.#HeroISL #LetsFootball #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/Em2fpnp7HF

Watch: Rai was excellent in his distribution across the field
Vinit was a bright spot in the Delhi midfield. He distributed the ball well and switched flanks very well. He ended the game with 50 passes and a passing accuracy of 82%. The midfielder was excellent when Delhi decided to stay back and invite pressure from Pune, clearing all the balls he met with.
Romeo Fernandes - 8.5
Romeo Fernandes came into the starting lineup as the replacement of Nandhakumar Sekar and he certainly outperformed him as well. Romeo was the best player of the game, scoring once and assisting another. His goal especially was the one which would have definitely reminded many of the talent he has. Romeo also had seven crosses in the game.
Lalianzuala Chhangte - 7.5
Chhangte scored and played well. His final balls were better. He did almost everything that he is asked to after every poor performance. The final balls especially, which were poor in the previous game, were a big improvement for the Delhi winger. He is certainly high in confidence after the trail in Norway.
Daniel Lalhlimpuia - 7.0
It was another game which showed every one of the talent Daniel has. He scored again, his fourth of the season and the way he scored was more noteworthy. Daniel, if he continues his improvement like this, can vouch for his name for the position of forward in the Indian national team.
