Watch: Chennaiyin FC 0-0 Jamshedpur FC highlights
Here are the player ratings for the game.
Chennaiyin FC
Karanjit Singh- 7.0
Singh was an absolute wall at the back and was the main reason behind Chennaiyin keeping a clean-sheet. He made sure that Jamshedpur attackers didn’t get past him. The Chennaiyin custodian made four crucial saves, including a close range header from Mario Arques.
However, Singh made one big error which could’ve led to Jamshedpur capitalizing on the chance, but Eli Sabia came to the rescue.
The young right-back had a decent game. He produced a solid defensive performance, but lost possession cheaply while going forward. However, he made sure Carlos Calvo and later Michael Soosairaj didn’t cut in from the right.
Tondonba Singh- 6.5
Tondonba Singh was once again assigned left-back duty in the absence of Jerry Lalrinzuala by John Gregory and he didn't disappoint. Singh made seven clearences and was very efficient in moving the ball forward.
Anirudh Thapa- 7.0
Anirudh Thapa was an untiring workhorse for the Marina Machans. He did all the dirty work in the midfield, ensuring a smooth gameplay for the hosts. Thapa made four tackles and two clearances in the game. He delivered the ball upfront many times, but the compact defensive play by Jamshedpur didn’t let him create any chances for Jeje Lalpekhlua.
Issac Valmalsawma- 5.5
Issac failed to turn up against Jamshedpur on Saturday night. He was very wasteful with the deadball and often lost possession in the final third.
CK Vineeth- 6.0
Vineeth started from the left and was often lying deep in his own half. As the game progressed he found his rhythm and tried to create space for himself. He created a chance for Lalpheklua who was wasteful in front of goal.
Jeje Lalpheklua- 5.0
Jeje’s poor form continued as he hardly made any contribution in the game. He missed a couple of chances in front of goal. He also gave up possession very cheaply and was caught out on the counter by Jamshedpur's defenders.
Substituitions
Thoi Singh- 6.0
After coming on for Vineeth he made a couple of good runs from the right. However he couldn’t cope against the physical presence of Jamshedpur defenders.
Germanpreet Singh- 7.0
Germanpreet almost made an impact coming on as a substitute, but his header was off target. However he made two clearances and kept Jamshepur at bay.
Md. Rafi- NA
Came on in the 90th minute of the game and could not turn the tide in the fixture.

Jamshedpur FC
Subrata Paul- 7.0
The Jamshedpur custodian didn’t have much to do as there was no real threat posed by Chennaiyin attackers. However, he made sure that the limited chances that they created didn’t go in. He made three saves in the game.
Karan Amin- 6.5
Karan Amin failed to contribute offensively, but was solid defensively. He made four clearences and two tackles. He denied the opportunites to the opposition attackers to score goals.
Augustin Fernandes- 7.0
Augustin had a very good game defensively, but his performance was not enough to get a win for the Jamshedpur. Fernandes made 11 clearences in the game, while dealing with counter-attacks efficiently and keeping Jeje and Co. at bay.
Dhanachandra Singh- 6.0
Dhanachandra produced a very good performance against his former side. He followed the pattern of being good defensively and poor offensively. He made five tackles and eight clearences during the game.
The young winger was a standout performer for Jamshedpur dribbling the ball against the Chennaiyin defenders. However, he was selfish on various occasions and gave up the ball easily.
Farukh Chaudhary- 3.5
Farukh was by far the worst performer in the game. He was invisible throughout the first half and in the second, he was replaced by Soosairaj.
Substitutions
Michael Soosairaj- 6.0
Soosairaj was brought in by Cesar Ferrando hoping he could make a significant contribution. He almost scored a goal, but the assistant raised his flag.
