Brazilian defender Danilo points out Key differences between Zidane and Guardiola
The defender also highlighed the aspects that separate the Premier League from La Liga.
A lot of players have played under top managers of their time and have expressed their views on their style of play. But very few of them has had the opportunity to play under both Zinedine Zidane and Pep Guardiola in their career and the player is Brazilian fullback Danilo.
The Brazilian enjoyed his dream run at Real Madrid when he lifted the Champions League with the Los Blancos under Zidane's tutelage and is only one of the two players in Pep Guardiola's City side to have achieved that feat- the other one being Claudio Bravo. Danilo relived the dream journey again as Sergio Ramos and company won the coveted title again with the Frenchman at their helm. However, Danilo went down the pecking order since then and left Spain to join Manchester City in 2017. Things have not been great as the 27-year old is still struggling to find game time at the Etihad.
Guardiola has used the Brazilian as a squad player, someone who can play on both flanks whenever there is a necessity and the former Real Madrid man has not disappointed whenever thrown in critical situations.
With an ample amount of experience with the Cityzens and a glorious past with the Blancos, the 27-year old drew comparisons between his former and current manager.
"Of course, they are different," Danilo said of Zidane and Guardiola to The Daily Mirror. "They are top coaches and it's impossible to compare them. I'm very happy to have worked with both of them."Pep's attention to detail is unparalleled and what Zidane achieved is incredible, so it's difficult for me to say who's better."
The defender was also asked to point out the difference between the La Liga and the Premier League.
"The English game is more physical and, if I can say, it's more tactical," he said."By that I mean that the teams try to win the games, so it's different from Spain."I say it with respect because for me they are the two best leagues in the world."

We know that it's not easy, but we have the quality and have to give it our best."
The Brazilian is desperate to win the title under Guardiola which he bagged twice under Zidane during his time at Spain. However with the Copa America fast approaching the 27-year old defender will want to make an impact this season to get back to the national team after their underwhelming World Cup performance in Russia.
