In terms of Indian currency, the Old Lady have earned ₹430 crores from CR7 shirts.
Cristiano Ronaldo who has been gathering all the headlines in recent weeks has not even stepped onto the field in a Juventus shirt yet, but the Old Lady have already recovered half the amount for which they bought him.
On the very first day after signing the superstar forward, the Bianconeri sold about 5,20,000 CR7 printed shirts. Adidas being the official merchandising partner of the club, sold nearly 20,000 shirts and the remaining were bought online by fans all around the world. This is a statement for the football fraternity to admire the Portuguese's brand value and his number of passionate followers.
The current Serie A champions sold about 850,000 jerseys in 2016 and now looking at the current numbers, it looks to be a matter of time before that number is overtaken.
Hindustan Times report: Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo jersey sale numbers
A CR7 shirt with the 5-time Ballon d'Or winner's name printed on it costs £92 and even with the revenue taken up by manufacturer Adidas excluded, the Old Lady stand to benefit from the huge sum, as the Portuguese talisman brings in a lot of marketing and sponsorship deals with him. Adidas signed a six-year deal with the Italian giants back in 2016 and now things are looking to blossom even more with this transfer.
The Old lady brought the Portuguese talisman to Turin after agreeing to pay €100m over two financial years. Juve will also have to pay the former Real Madrid man €120m over the course of four years. Things do not end there, as the White and Black outfit will also have to pay another €12m in add-ons. So in total, the cost of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's Juventus stay will be €232m euros (₹23.2 crores).
The record goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League will definitely look to set Serie A on fire as he did at Manchester United and Real Madrid. In the latest video in social media, the 33-year old was seen visiting the club in Turin and meeting his teammates.

The deal has definitely left the whole football fraternity in shock as the Old Lady paid the highest transfer fee for a 30-year-old. It was also the highest transfer fee paid by an Italian club in history. Ronaldo, who ended his campaign with Real Madrid, won several trophies in the Spanish capital. With the kind of squad Juventus have and with Ronaldo's inclusion, the Portuguese talisman can expect to continue winning more silverware.
The move from Real Madrid to Juventus, makes Ronaldo the third highest paid player in the world currently, behind Paris Saint Germain's Neymar and Barcelona's main man Lionel Messi, who became the highest paid player after signing a new contract with the Blaugrana last November.
