Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba will decide Manchester United Vs Barcelona encounter
The Swede has represented both the clubs in his long career.
With Champions League football returning to the fray, it is time for Manchester United to host Barcelona in their quarterfinal heavyweight clash. The fixture will light up even more as Lionel Messi is set to feature against the Red Devils and Paul Pogba also returns to action after his suspension against PSG.
Amidst all the predictions and analysis about the game, Zlatan Ibrahimovic who played for both clubs and alongside both the players shares his opinion about the clash.
The current LA Galaxy man tips Messi and Pogba to play crucial roles for their respective sides.
“It will be a very interesting game, two big teams, two big clubs playing against each other,” Ibrahimovic said.
“Both clubs with great history, and it will be exciting to see the fantastic players in each team. Let’s see who will be the strongest for the day.
"I think Messi is there, he makes the difference for his team in each and every game and it is no secret and in United we have Pogba. I feel it will be more of a battle between those two. Even if it's about the team but on these matches it's all about making the difference", he added.
Speaking about his memories with the clubs, he explains that Barcelona holds a special place in his heart.
"It was the best team in the world. I think my best memory with Barca was everywhere we went there was a lot of respect among the people. You had that feeling that you'd win the game even if you weren't performing at the top because the team was so strong. GREAT MEMORIES! " Zlatan concluded.
