The former Hull City man opened the scoring for his side.

On the back of Liverpool's UEFA Champions League victory, left-back Andrew Robertson scored a screamer for Scotland, against Cyprus, during Euro 2020 qualifying. The Scottish skipper is currently being heralded as one of the best wing-backs to have graced modern football.

Under new gaffer Steve Clarke, the tireless full-back scored via a fabulous strike, an hour after kick-off. Robertson opened the scoring for Scotland, while Ionnis Kousoulos equalised for the opponents. Substitute Oliver Burke scored the winner for Scotland.

The marauding football player, who plies his trade in Anfield, has been a regular in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI, pushing the likes of Alberto Moreno down the pecking order.

Robertson has had a resurgence since joining Liverpool, having played earlier for the likes of Hull City, Dundee United, and Queen's Park. He has appeared 30 times for his country, scoring three goals, but his strike against Cyprus could turn out to be his best goal ever for Scotland.

Skippering Scotland, the 25-year-old Glasgow-born lad has the makings of a future Liverpool captain too, and is often seen leading the team from upfront, while attacking and defending.

Alongwith Trent Alexander-Arnold, the duo have created a lot of goals for Liverpool in the concluded season, from either flanks. The England full-back is 20-years-old. The future looks bright for Liverpool!
