Both sides share spoils and deservedly so, as it was end to end football with ample amount of chances on either end. However both sides lost concentration in the last five minutes and conceded cheap goals. Mumbai City already had the three points in their pocket but a lapse in defence allowed the hosts to comeback. That has been the story for Jorge Costa's men this season. FULLTIME: Peep Peeeeep Peeeeeeeeeeeeep!! Thats that for the night as ATK somehow manages to salvage a point. What an end to a hard fought match between the two sides. 90+3 GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Late drama here in Salt Lake as Krishna restores parity for the hosts. A longball from Kotal was not dealt with by the Mumbai defence and Krishna took full advantage of it. 90+1' GOALLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Kevyn puts Mumbai City ahead and what a time to take the lead. 90' Five minutes added to the regulation time as Raynier Fernandes comes on for Larbi 89' Another wild tackle and another heated fight with both sides having a go at each other. This has been the case throughout the game. 87' SUBSTITUTION for the visitors as Bipin Singh replaces Sougou. 86' Amrinder loses concentration in an important area and awards ATK a crucial corner late in the game. However the hosts failed to make most out of the setpice. 84' Both sides have looked scrappy in the final quarter with tackles flying in and heated fights. 82' Anas gets into the referee's book as play resumes. 80' Another reckless challenge as Anas Edathodika and Paulo Machado were involved in a collison and now both players are down. 77' SUBSTITUTION for ATK as Balwant Singh comes in for Javi Hernandez. It looks like Habas wants to go all out now. 75' CHANCE!!! Mumbai City almost had the lead there!!! A excellent ball from Kevyn on the left flank found an on-rushing Larbi. But the chance goes begging as the Tunisian midfielder scuffs his shot off target from close. 70' Another heated moment and this again Chermiti is involved with Arindam Bhattacharya as the referee separates the duo. 68' A surging cross from the right almost caught Amrinder Singh offguard as his weak punch landed straight towards Soosairaj. However the goalscorer's shot was wayward. 65' The game has opened up again and the visitors are looking to take the lead with momentum on their side. 62' EQUALISER!!! Mumbai City gets the much needed equaliser as Pratik headed home from an excellent Mohammad Larbi corner. 60' SUBSTITION Agus comes in for injured McHugh 58' A fight broke out between the two sides as Carl McHugh lays on the ground. It looks like the Irish defender landed heavily on his ankle and wont be able to continue. 55' Mumbai City have been very reckless with their tackling. If they continue this attitude one or two players may force the referee to pull out the red card. 50' CHANCE for the hosts as Edu Garcia's long surging ball was headed by Pratik Chaudhuri. However the ball landed straight onto the path of Prabir Das but the Mumbai defenders cleared their lines as they were quick to react to the danger. 49' SUBSTITUTION for Mumbai City as Serge Kevyn replaces Diego Carlos on the right flank. 47' Amine Chermiti takes an ambitious long range effort with Arindam out of his lines. But the Tunisian's shot is way off target. 8:35 PM: We are underway for the second half!! HALFTIME: It has been a hard fought contest between the two sides. with crisp passing, flying tackles and intricate movements. However the hosts have been more clinical in front of goal with Soosairaj handing them the lead. Mumbai City have not gone too wrong in the first half, it is just that they have failed to take their chances and could dictate terms when they literally had the upper hand in the game. Jorge Costa will look to make some changes to his lineup as we are heading to another feisty 45 minutes of action. 45+2' HALFTIME Thats it for the first half as referee Rahul Gupta blows his whistle. Habas' men will be delighted to head into the break with the lead. while Mumbai city have not gone too wrong they just need to consolidate themselves and take their chances in the final third. 44' Two minutes have been added to regulation time and Jorge Costa needs to have a pep talk with his players. The Islanders have lost their panache after conceding the goal. 41' The hosts are now getting their mojo back and how. Sleek passing from the midfielders allowing players like Williams and Krishna run in behind the defenders. while Soosairaj has been sensational with his overlapping runs down the left flank. 38' GOALLLLLLLLL Excellent buildup to the goal from ATK. Sensational movement from the ATK midfielders and intricate passing involving Edu Garcia and Williams. The final ball was laid on Soosairaj's tracks who made a great run from the left. The former Jamshedpur FC man completed the move with a calm and composed finish. 28' Subhashis Bose becomes the first player to get on the referee's book after his late tackle on Edu Garcia. The Spaniard was down for quite sometime but will resume play after receiving some treatment. 26' CLOSE! A thunderous effort from Roy Krishna from long range suddenly finds the whole Mumbai defence off guard. However the shot was always going wide. 25' The visitors have looked good in attack with passes from midfield connecting their forwards into open spaces. Chermiti and Sougou have worked well together till now. 22' Whenever ATK has looked dangerous with their fast forwards on the counters, the Islanders have pressed well and have not allowed any space in the final third. 18' CHANCE for ATK as Garcia finds Soosairaj free on the left flank, but his first time shot was blocked by the Mumbai defence. The ball ricochet back to Javi Hernandez who's shot went whistling wide off target. 15' Machado's corner comes to nothing but the Islanders slowly but surely gaining the much needed confidence with their passing. 11' CHANCE! The visitors are slowly gaining rhythm  with Chermiti finding acres of space in behind the ATK defence. The Tunisian's cross is a great one but not good enough to shake the sturdy backline of ATK. 8' It's end to end stuff here in Kolkata as ATK unleashed their attack through Williams, but a reckless tackle from Souvik stopped him in his tracks. While the fans scream for an infringement the referee seems unmoved. 6' A good move from the visitors with Machado finding Sougou on the right as the forward's cross was comfortably cleared by the ATK defence. 3' The game has started with a good momentum with both sides looking to consolidate possession. Mumbai City gets the first chance of the game with Diego Carlos and Modou Sougou linking well as the latter failed to take the chance. 1'KICKOFF And we are Underway at the Salt Lake stadium with the hosts starting proceedings. 7:25 PM: The teams are out of the tunnel as we are edging closer to kickoff. Antonio Habas talked about his target from this game and their performance against Odisha in the previous game

When asked about the challenge against Mumbai City FC, Antonio Habas said, “The target for tomorrow is to win the match. I guess the opponent will also have the same target. I feel it will be a good match and the supporters will be happy.” When quizzed about their rare disappointing performance against Odisha FC in the previous game, Habas backed his team. “Every match is different, Odisha is a team who play good football. Maybe we did not get the intensity. We cannot win every match. You can try, but it’s not possible. The more important part is that we did not lose. But, then again, we wanted three points.”

Jorge Costa talks about leaking goals as they conceded ten goals in their last three league games

“We are making some mistakes (in defence) that we cannot. Will try to fix, we are working on this, but this is something that we can fix. As a team, we are doing well, but then during the game, we are making some individual mistakes. It is one thing that cost us some points. But anyway, we have time to fix, we have time to win points, we have time to move to the position we want to finish,” Jorge Costa explained.
