The southern side have drawn blanks in their first two games..
Kerala Blasters take on Delhi Dynamos in another Indian Super League clash at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Sunday. Both sides come into the game in a contrasting run of form. The hosts endured an abysmal previous campaign finishing bottom of the league and have lost their opening two games against NorthEast United and Atletico de Kolkata, having failed to score in either. On the other hand, Delhi boss Gianluca Zambrotta watched his side thump defending champions Chennaiyin FC 3-1 in their first game of the campaign. Team News The Bengaluru FC pair of Rino Anto and C.K. Vineeth continue to miss out due to AFC Cup engagements with the Blues. There are no fresh injury concerns from the last game. But, with his strikers firing blanks manager Steve Coppell has much thinking to do about his team selection. Delhi are in buoyant mood and are not expected to alter the winning combination from the last game. Head to Head Games between these two teams have been tight in the previous two seasons. Both have a win each while two others have ended in stalemate. Man to Watch Michael Chopra-Kerala Blasters: The first footballer of Indian heritage to play in the Premier League, Michael Chopra shot to prominence in this part of the world through the second half of the last decade when he played for Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Sunderland. He has returned to Blasters after being part of their run to the Final of the inaugural edition of the ISL. With Antonio German and Mohamed Rafique drawing blanks Chopra may well get a start tomorrow and the Englishman will be hoping he can open his team’s account for the season. Marcelinho-Delhi Dynamos: The Brazilian starred in his side’s demolition of Chennaiyin as he ran rings around the champions’ back four scoring a first half brace. As the capital side make the short journey from Chennai to Kochi his manager will be hoping he can dazzle with some more Samba magic. Broadcast The match will be telecast live on Star Sports 2, HD2, Star Sports 1, HD1, Star Gold, Star Gold HD, Jalsha Movies, Jalsha Movies HD and Hotstar.
