All eyes will be on Sanjay who scored a hat-trick in a 4-5 defeat against France. Apart from Sanjay, Uttam Singh also produced a goal the previous match and will look to continue his good run of form in the Junior Hockey World Cup. The FIH Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2021 is taking place at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Tokyo Olympics medalist Vivek Sagar Prasad is leading the title defence of India in the tournament. India is only the second team to win multiple titles in the competition with the first one being Germany.

All the teams in the FIH Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2021 are divided into four groups -Pool A, Pool B, Pool C and Pool D – with four teams each. They will each play three pool matches, with the top two from each pool progressing to the quarter-finals of the tournament. The first and second-placed teams from Pool A and Pool B will face each other in the last eight. And the third and fourth teams will play each in the classification rounds for their tournament placements. The Indian team is in Pool B and will face Poland, Canada and France for the pool stage matches.
