The Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony will be held on July 26 at river Seines. It will see 10,500 athletes taking part along with 3000 artists who will perform at the ceremony. The athletes will move along in a 6km parade on boats from the Austerlitz bridge till Trocadero.

Athletes will get to see the finest views of France on their parade boats. There will be over 100 boats with cameras installed on them for the digital viewers from different parts of the world.

The Indian contingent will be led by veteran paddler, Achanta Sharath Kamal and shuttler, PV Sindhu. It will be Kamal’s fifth and final Olympic venture, while it will be the third for Sindhu. There will be 117 Indian athletes along with their coaches and staff members.
