Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu write heartwarming tributes to Indian Armed Forces; thank them for 'service & sacrifice'

Ties between India and Pakistan have plunged following the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, two-time Olympic medallist, Neeraj Chopra has taken to social media to extend his full support to the Indian Armed Forces in their fight against terrorism. Chopra, a two-time Olympic medallist, said he stands in solidarity with the Indian Army and also cautioned the citizens to be responsible and stay safe.
He was joined by compatriot and fellow Olympic medallist PV Sindhu who lauded the soldiers for their courage and sacrifice in service to the nation and expressed support in the nation’s fight against terror outfits.

“To the brave men and women of the Indian Armed Forces—your courage, discipline and sacrifice are the soul of our nation,” Sindhu wrote on Insta story. “In moments like Operation Sindoor, we’re reminded of the silent strength and selfless service that keep our tricolour flying high. India stands with you. Jai Hind,” she added in her post.
Chopra said “We are proud of our brave Indian Armed Forces who are fighting for our nation against terrorism. He added that “Let’s do our part and make sure to follow guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety during this time.”
The conflict between India and Pakistan have escalated following the Pahalgam terror attack, that claimed 25 innocent Indian lives on April 22. India avenged the killing of civilians through air strikes on nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on May 6 as part of ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Pakistan have since responded with unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) and targeting different locations across the border areas in Jammu & Kashmir in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
They also on the night of May 8, targeted several military locations in northern and western India, using drones and missiles. However, India successfully countered such attempts and neutralised the Air Defence System in Lahore in response.
