Rudrankksh Patil, Mehuli Ghosh headline India's squad for Shooting Asian Olympic Qualifiers 2024

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced a 34 member rifle, pistol and shotgun squad for the upcoming Shooting Asian Olympic qualifiers 2024 scheduled to take place in January. A total of 16 Paris Olympic Games quotas will be available in Jakarta, Indonesia for rifle and pistol category. Meanwhile, shotgun event is set to be held from 12-22 January in Kuwait which is offering eight Paris quotas.
Till date, 13 Olympics quota have been secured by the Indian shooting contingent. Rudrankksh Patil will headline the Indian squad for the upcoming tournament. The youngster was the first Indian to secure a quota after winning gold at ISSF World Championships 2022.
A few youngsters have been roped in for the first time – Sri Karthik Sabari Raj (Men’s 10m Air rifle), Ujjawal Malik (Men’s 10m Air Pistol) and Bhavya Tripathi (Women’s Trap). Meanwhile, Tilottama Sen and Shriyanka Sadangi will be heading in as RPO and they will not compete for medal albiet take part in the qualification rounds.

- 10m women: Mehuli Ghosh, Elavenil Valarivan, Nancy, Tilottama Sen (RPO)
- 50m 3P men: Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Swapnil Kusale, Akhil Sheoran
- 50m 3P women: Sift Kaur Samra, Anjum Moudgil, Ashi Chouksey, Shriyanka Sadangi (RPO)
Air Pistol
- 10m men: Arjun Singh Cheema, Varun Tomar, Ujjawal Malik
- 10m women: Rhythm Sangwan, Surbhi Rao, Esha Singh
- 25m rapid fire men: Vijayveer Sidhu, Bhavesh Shekhawat, Gurpreet Singh
- 25m pistol women: Esha Singh, Simranpreet Kaur Brar, Rhythm Sangwan
