Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar returns to the Indian team after missing the ISSF World Cup in Cairo. With the Paris Olympics 2024 approaching, he will be aiming for another podium finish. He last competed at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers, earlier this year, where he bagged a silver medal.
Panwar, who impressed at the Cairo stage, with a world record score of 253.7 in the finals of the men’s 10m air rifle, and Sonam Uttam Maskar, who clinched the silver in the women’s event, will look to continue their impressive form in Granada.
At the season-opening World Cup stage (Rifle/Pistol), India (6) ended their campaign on a high by topping the medal table with two gold, three silver, and one bronze.
