Indian Olympic Association announces BPCL as principal sponsor of indian contingent

BPCL is set to launch campaigns set to promote the athletes heading to Paris Olympics 2024.
Indian Olympic Association (IOA) announces that Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and a Fortune Global 500 Company, has joined them as the official Principal Sponsor for four years, starting from Paris Olympics 2024 through Los Angeles Olympics ’28,
This collaboration, showcasing BPCL’s commitment to not only fuelling the nation but also driving the spirit of sportsmanship and excellence, will also encompass the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Summer Youth Olympics, Winter Olympics, and Winter Youth Olympics.
As part of this collaboration, BPCL will launch a series of campaigns designed to support and uplift the Indian contingent heading to Paris Olympic 2024. These initiatives aim to inspire the nation, galvanize support for our athletes, and celebrate their relentless pursuit of excellence on the global stage.
Through these campaigns, BPCL reaffirms its dedication to nurturing sporting talent and fostering a spirit of national pride and unity.
BPCL has a long history of identifying and nurturing sports talent. Since 1987, they have inducted over 200 sportspersons across various disciplines, supporting their aspirations and providing advanced training both at home and abroad.
BPCL’s commitment is exemplified by their former employees like MM Somaya, a gold medallist in the 1980 Moscow Olympics, and PV Sindhu, a silver medallist in the 2016 Rio games. Saina Nehwal, who is currently employed, won a bronze medal in badminton at the 2012 London Olympics.
Additionally, five bronze-winning men’s hockey team players from the Tokyo Olympics 2020 have also been BPCL’s employees.
BPCL is committed to not only fuelling the nation but also driving the spirit of sportsmanship and excellence. As we embark on this exciting journey with the Indian Olympic Association, we look forward to empowering our athletes and inspiring the entire nation.
