Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma purchase ₹18.29 crore apartment in Mumbai
According to several rumours, Kohli and Anushka have bought an expensive apartment in Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai. As per a Hindustan Times report, the couple purchased a 2,466 sq ft apartment on a higher floor of the Godrej Skyshore building.
The property is valued at ₹18.29 crore, which is around Kohli’s yearly earnings from the IPL alone. The report also stated that the transaction for the apartment was registered on July 21, with a stamp duty payment of ₹1.09 crore and an additional ₹30,000 as the registration charge.
The couple also own a 7,171 sq ft apartment in Worli, Mumbai, a mansion in Gurugram, and a farmhouse in Alibaug. Kohli and Anushka mostly live in England, but with reports of them investing in properties in India, there is speculation that they might shift their base and move back to India.
The Indian cricketer is also nearing the latter stages of his career and is likely looking for the best place to raise his children.
