The beautiful coastal city of Antalya, set against the backdrop of the pristine Mediterranean shores, is ready to host the table tennis competition - WTT Contender Antalya 2023. This event is scheduled to take place at the Gloria Sports Hall from October 16th to October 22nd, marking Turkiye's first foray into hosting a WTT Series event. It's the 11th WTT Contender event of the year and promises to be an exciting addition to the international table tennis calendar.
The WTT Contender Antalya 2023 comprises five events: Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Men’s doubles, Women’s doubles, and Mixed doubles. Antalya joins the ranks of other host cities, including Lanzhou, Muscat, Frankfurt, Taiyuan, and Nagoya, set to host a WTT Series event in the remaining part of 2023.
Indian contingent for the highly anticipated WTT Contender Antalya 2023 comprises Manika Batra and Gnanesekaran. In the men's singles qualifying category, we have the dynamic Sathiyan Gnanasekaran vying for a spot in the main draw, where he aims to make his mark in the tournament. In the women's singles main draw, the experienced Manika Batra is set to exhibit her exceptional skills and competitive spirit as she takes on the best in the world.
