Nine-time champion Novak Djokovic will look to reach the semis.

Novak Djokovic will look to continue his fine form and enter the semi-finals of the Australian Open 2023 as he takes on fifth seed Andrey Rublev in the quarter-finals. Two unseeded emerging American players Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul will clash to make it to their maiden Grand Slam semi-final. In the women's singles, Magda Linette, who defeated Caroline Garcia in the fourth round, will take on Karoline Pliskova.

On day 9 (Tuesday), Stefanos Tsitsipas and Karen Kachanov did not have to toil hard in the fourth round getting through to the semi-finals comfortably. Victoria Azarenka, the former world No. 1, beat third-seed American Jessica Pegula while higher seed Jelena Ostapenko lost to Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina in the women's singles quarter-finals.
