Andreeva became the third youngest player to win a main draw match at WTA 1000 level.

Mirra Andreeva is among the few players under the age 16 to defeat a top 20 player at the WTA 1000. The victory stands out to be one of the most impressive match of the season. Andreeva, except losing the Australian Open Girls Finals, has won every professional match she has played in 2023 and received a wildcard in Madrid after winning two consecutive ITF tournaments. The 16-year-old is making a name for herself already at this young stage.

WTA 1000 (Beijing, Indian Wells, Madrid, Miami) earlier referred as the WTA Premier Mandatory Tournaments, these four were rebranded to WTA 1000 in 2021 to make the classification in line with the ATP events. These four are mandatory for anyone qualified and able to play. WTA 1000 tournaments are a category of tennis tournaments on the WTA Tour, which are managed and governed by the Women's Tennis Association.

Not all players have what it takes to put the whole soul, but these five blooming young guns proved they have a step up in the game.
