The Spaniard will play his first Wimbledon final, while this will be the ninth Wimbledon final for the Serbian. The latter has just lost one Wimbledon final in 2013 losing to Andy Murray (4-6,5-7,4-6). Novac would want to add eight Wimbledon titles to his name.

Living up to his expectation, Carlos Alcaraz didn't disappoint his fans as he reached his second Grand Slam final. En route, he dropped only two sets against Berrettini and Nicolas. He started his campaign with a straight sets win over Alexandre Muller (6-4, 7-6, 6-3).
He then faced Holger Rune in the quarter-finals and in the battle between two teenage stars, Carlos emerged victorious (7-6, 6-4, 6-4). In the Semi-finals, Carlos completely destroyed Danii Medvedev (6-3, 6-3, 6-3) to reach his first Wimbledon Final.
On the other hand, Novak Djokovic also reached the final quite comfortably. He started his campaign with a win over Jordan Thompson (6-3, 7-6, 7-5). He then destroyed Stan Wawrinka in the next round (6-3, 6-1, 7-6). In the Round of 16, he faced a tough battle from Hubert Hurkacz.
The Polish had the chance to win the first two sets, but Novak used his experience to win the match (7-6, 7-6, 5-7, 4-6). In the Semi-final, he got the better of Sinner (6-3, 6-4, 7-6).
