Wimbledon 2025 has provided plenty of drama and action, and everybody wants to have a glimpse of it. The best tennis tournament on the calendar and one of the world’s best sporting events, SW19 has an aura and stature unlike any other.
On the very first day, members of the British Royal Family were seated in the Royal Box, joined by former English footballer David Beckham. Each year, Wimbledon attracts a glittering array of royals, actors, musicians, politicians, and sports stars from around the world.
This year was no different, and here we take a look at the popular Indian celebrities who were spotted enjoying the action at the All England Club.
Indian stars who attended Wimbledon 2025
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma
Indian cricket team legend Virat Kohli was seen watching the match of his favorite tennis player, Novak Djokovic, with his wife Anushka Sharma.
Indian cricketing legend Virat Kohli was seen watching the match of his favorite tennis player, Novak Djokovic, with his wife Anushka Sharma. The Serbian went down 1-6 in the opening set, but staged an excellent comeback to win the match.

Taking to his social media account, Kohli praised Djokovic’s gameplay, calling him “the Gladiator”. Virat and Novak have built an excellent relationship built on mutual respect and admiration despite not meeting each other in person.
Jasprit Bumrah
Currently leading India’s bowling attack across formats, Jasprit Bumrah and his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, were also seen at Centre Court. Ahead of the Lord’s test, the ace bowler utilised the break and attended the prestigious event.
Suryakumar Yadav
India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, along with his wife, were cheering for the 24-time Grand Slam champion during his tight battle with Flavio Cobolli in the quarter-finals. He shared an Instagram story, rooting for Djokovic, and was certainly treated to a blockbuster encounter.
Rishabh Pant
India’s all-format wicket keeper, Rishabh Pant, is dominating on and off the field. On the back of two excellent test matches, where he scored a double century in Leeds, and backed it with a match-winning cameo in the second innings at Birmingham, where India levelled the series.
His stylish suit fit perfectly with Wimbledon’s strict dress code, and he impressed everyone with his in-depth knowledge of tennis. He backed Carlos Alcaraz to win the title but also named Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner among his favorites.
Pant shared that Roger Federer was the player he loved watching most in the past and added that he sees similarities between himself and Nick Kyrgios, thanks to their shared passion for entertaining fans.
Ravi Shastri
Former Indian coach and popular commentator Ravi Shastri was in the stands for Carlos Alcaraz‘s quarter-final against local hope Cameron Norrie. Before the clash, he referred to the Spaniard as “The Spanish Bull”, and his performance was no different, as the defending champion raced to a straight sets victory over the Brit.
Ajinkya Rahane

Former Indian skipper and current captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, Ajinkya Rahane, was one of the first Indian icons to grace the marquee event. He was spotted in the early rounds of Wimbledon 2025, when there was a surge of upsets, with as many as 23 top seeds bowing out of the Championship.
Deepak Chahar
Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar is one of the few players who is not part of the Indian Test team playing in England, but he graced the marquee event with his presence. He was seen having a good time with his wife, Jaya Bhardwaj. Chahar was later even seen in India’s nets, bowling to the batters.

Avneet Kaur
The only non-cricketer from India to attend the first week of SW19 was Avneet Kaur, whose presence created a huge buzz on social media. With around 32 million Instagram followers, the actress is known for shows like Dance India Dance Li’l Masters, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, and the film Mardaani, among others. Her all-white outfit perfectly matched Wimbledon’s traditional dress code.
She recently drew massive attention after a “controversial like” from an Indian legend. According to reports, Virat Kohli had allegedly liked one of Kaur’s posts, which led to the entire social media drawing all sorts of speculation. Shockingly, Kohli went on to publicly address the matter, calling it a glitch in the algorithm, as his statement read, “The algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction”.
Coincidentally, Avneet and Kohli attended SW19 on the same day, sparking more speculation among fans.
Preity Zinta
Bollywood actor Preity Zinta attended the men’s singles final with her husband and friends on Sunday. “What a fun weekend this has been with my hubby – my Pati Parmeshwar & my favourite girls watching an unbelievable game of tennis ! Was awesome to see the men’s finals at Wimbledon ! Congratulation @janniksin for winning your first Wimbledon title & hard luck @carlitosalcarazz You fought hard & gave us a thrilling match,” she wrote in her caption.
Farhan Akhtar
Actor, singer and director Farhan Akhtar also attended the men’s singles final with his celebrity wife Shibani Dandekar and father Javed Akhtar. Sharing his delight, Farhan on his official Insta page “What a beautiful weekend at @wimbledon with dad & Shibani .. such a special experience every time we’ve attended. This has to rank amongst the best sporting tickets on the calendar .. pure class 👍🏽👍🏽
Honest admission – was rooting for Alcaraz to make it 3 in a row but today belonged to Sinner. He played incredibly well and deserved the win.”
Urvashi Rautela
Actor and model Urvashi Rautela also attended the men’s singles final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday. She shared multiple pics and videos from the event and also thanked the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.
Jacqueline Fernandez
Actor and model Jacqueline Fernandez was delighted at attending the Wimbledon final for the first time. She captioned her post “When in London!! My first ever Wimbledon ❤️ definitely not my last! @wimbledon”
Sonam Kapoor

Actor Sonam Kapoor was also spotted watching the men’s singles final unfold at Wimbledon 2025. She shared pics of her watching the match on her Insta story.
Neeraj Chopra
Two-time Olympic medallist and current World Champion, Neeraj Chopra, was also in attendance for the men’s singles final at Wimbledon 2025. Wimbledon shared pics and videos of India’s Golden Boy and welcomed him to the All England Club.
