For the past three years, Riyadh has hosted the Six Kings Slam, bringing together six of the biggest names in men’s tennis and offering a lucrative prize purse. The newly introduced ‘The Six’ appears poised to follow a similar blueprint, with Seoul selected as its host city.
The 2026 off-season will deliver another dose of high-profile tennis, with leading names in women’s singles set to headline the new exhibition event in South Korea.
The South Korean capital hosted a high-profile exhibition clash between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz last year. This time the spotlight will shift to the WTA, with some of the sport’s biggest stars set to take centre stage.

The Six — WTA exhibition — event will be held from December 26 to 28, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea.
Who will be competing at the event?
The field is led by World No. 1 and No. 2, Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka. The former has had a dream season, winning a couple of Grand Slam titles and clinching the World No.1 ranking.
Whenever they meet, both players push each other to the limit, producing fiercely contested encounters that rarely disappoint. Reigning Roland Garros champion Mirra Andreeva will join them. The 19-year-old continues to establish herself as a leading force in women’s tennis.
Iga Swiatek and Naomi Osaka, both multiple-time Grand Slam champions, will also be in the house. Both players boast strong fan followings and are likely crowd favourites.
The Japanese in particular will look to mesmerise the crowd with her unique outfits. Jasmine Paolini, the former World No. 4, rounds out the field. The Italian reached two Grand Slam finals in 2024, but has struggled for form since, dropping out of the top 10.

What prize money is on offer?
The Six will have a total prize pool of $1.1 million (approximately ₩15 billion). However, the individual breakdown is yet to be confirmed.
As an exhibition event, the tournament will not award any ranking points.
