Amanda Anisimova vs Linda Noskova final prediction, betting tips & odds, head-to-head, preview: China Open 2025

Both players are making their maiden final appearance at the China Open.
Linda Noskova held her ground against Jessica Pegula to churn out a gritty three-set win over the American and setup a finale date with another American Amanda Anisimova at the China Open 2025.
The Czech prevented an all-American final in Beijing when she eliminated Pegula 6-3, 1-6, 7-6(6) in two hours and 29 minutes. Noskova fended off three match points to force a third-set tiebreaker. The World No. 27 sealed her victory on her second match point in the tie-breaker to reach her maiden WTA 1000 final.
It was heartbreak for Pegula as she squandered three match points and now trails Noskova 1-2 in their head-to-head. Noskova exacted revenge for her loss to the American on the grass courts of Bad Homburg, Germany, in June this year.
The Czech, whose place in the WTA Top 20 is certain, now faces Amanda Anisimova in her first WTA 1000 final.
Anisimova edged out defending champion Coco Gauff to register a 6-1, 6-2 victory in just 58 minutes. The American will now play Noskova in their rematch from Wimbledon 2025, which Anisimova claimed in a three-setter
The 24-year-old Anisimova is now in with an opportunity to win her second WTA 1000 title after Doha. With her comprehensive takedown of Gauff, Anisimova is the only player in 2025 to have defeated the WTA Top 3 – Sabalenka, Swiatek, and Gauff.
Anisimova outplayed her compatriot, opening up a 5-0 lead in both sets before Gauff found her way onto the scoreboard and avoided being bageled in the first set. Gauff, the World No. 3, was let down by her serve as she made five double faults and managed to win just 39% of her first serve points.
Anisimova is only the third American to reach the women’s singles final in Beijing after Serena Williams (2004, 2013) and Gauff (2024) herself.

Preview
Noskova kept her cool after Pegula forced her way back into the match by dominating the second set. The Czech stayed the course in the decisive tiebreak to reach the biggest final of her career.
The more experienced Anisimova will play her fifth tour-level final of 2025. The American recorded an impressive performance at the Grand Slam this season, making maiden title round appearances at both Wimbledon and the US Open.
Noskova and Anisimova will face off in their first final on tour. The 2025 season is shaping up nicely for Anisimova.
For the American World No. 4, it will be her second straight final after New York. After a maiden WTA 1000 triumph at the Qatar Open in February, the door is open for Anisimova to reprise the title run in Doha.
The 20-year-old Noskova made history to become the youngest Czech player to reach the finals of a WTA 1000 event since 1990, younger than Petra Kvitova, who was 21 when she achieved the milestone.

Match Prediction
After Coco Gauff’s unceremonious exit in the last four, the stage is set for a new champion to be crowned at the 2025 China Open. Linda Noskova and Amanda Anisimova will do the honours in Sunday’s final.
The 2025 China Open title hangs in the balance as Noskova faces Anisimova in the biggest final of her career after coming back from the brink to overwhelm Pegula in the last four. The American will be the clear favourite heading into their title round clash.
Their rivalry, limited to just two matches, saw Noskova emerge as the winner in their first meeting at Indian Wells two years ago. Anisimova turned the tables at Wimbledon this year to deliver her first victory over the Czech player.
Anisimova’s short respite from competitive tennis following the US Open appears to have worked in her favour. Noskova was the odd one out among the four Americans in the semi-finals and defied the odds to make it to the finals. The Czech player appears destined for her first title of the season after coming close in Prague.
Result: Linda Noskova to win in three sets.
