Andy Murray: Centre Stage will be a live interactive show.
Andy Murray is set to begin his second innings in a grand new stage next season. The former world No #1 who had retired from tennis in August this year has announced an UK theatre tour 2025 on social media. Murray will be talking about his 20-year long professional career which saw him capture 46 titles including three grand slams and two Olympic gold medals in singles.
Murray will be touring the UK for four shows alongside BBC broadcaster Andrew Cotter. The duo will be touring on June 18, 19, 21 and 29 in 2025. Murray will begin by performing in the SEC Armadillo, Glasgow on June 18 and Edinburgh Playhouse on June 19. The next two shows will be held in Eventim Apollo on June 21 and New Wimbledon theatre in London on June 29.
The former Brit will begin his theatre tour in his birthplace at Glasgow and will end it in Wimbledon where he clinched the title twice. The tour dates coincide with the grass court season in 2025 as fans can catch the action on grass courts and catch a glimpse of Murray giving insights on his illustrious career.

On being asked about his upcoming venture, Murray said, ‘After I retired this summer, I wanted to try some different things. I don’t think a tennis player has done anything like this before, so it felt like a great challenge for me. I haven’t stepped on a tennis court for a long time, so hopefully my fans will enjoy seeing me in this new setting.’
The 37-year-old had played his final event at the Paris Olympics in August. He played alongside Daniel Evans as the duo lost in the quarter-finals of men’s doubles. Murray had played his final singles match in Queen’s club, London in June. He retired mid-match during the fourth round clash against Jordan Thompson.
Murray will be now hoping to reconnect with his fans in the 2025 season. The fans will also be able to understand his feelings on retiring from the sport and his plans for the future. The tickets will be available for the show from November 14, 2024 as the fans can visit his official website to book their seats.
