The middle section of the top-10 of ATP rankings is proving to be tightly contested.

Alex de Minaur and Ben Shelton clinched ATP-500 titles in Rotterdam and Dallas respectively, to keep themselves inside the top-10. Despite their triumphs, neither players were able to force an entry into the top-5.

De Minaur rose two spots to match his career high ranking of #6, while Shelton stays at #9.

However, the race in the middle is getting intense. The points difference between #4 ranked Alexander Zverev and #9 ranked Ben Shelton is less than 600.

Novak Djokovic has stayed inside the top-three, however after his recent withdrawal from Qatar, he will have to display a strong performance upon his return, if he wishes to keep his #3 spot.

Carlos Alcaraz at #1 is nearly 3000 points ahead of #2 ranked Jannik Sinner. However, the Italian can gain plenty of points in the upcoming three months, thereby intensifying the race to the World No. 1 ranking.
