Billie Jean King Cup 2024 Finals: Full squad of all 12 teams for knockout stage
The Billie Jean King Cup 2024 Finals will begin on November 13.
The teams are geared up and ready to unleash their potential in the Billie Jean King Cup 2024 Finals. The squads have been finalised as only a day remains for the event to begin. With 12 teams competing for the trophy, multiple top ranked players will be in action for the ties. Fans will be witnessing clutch performances in singles and doubles.
Defending champions Canada will hope to capture the crown for the second time. Last season’s runner up Italy will also be in contention for their fifth title and first since 2013. Canada, Italy, Australia and Czechia have received direct quarter-final berths in the event. The other eight teams will need a win to enter the quarter-finals.
There will be intense clashes featuring Iga Swiatek, Paula Badosa, Jasmine Paolini in the singles. They will be joined by Leylah Fernandez, Katie Boulter, Ajla Tomljanovic and Danielle Collins. The doubles battles will be led by Katerina Siniakova, Taylor Townsend, Laura Siegemund and Sara Sorribes Tormo in Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2024.
The matches will be played in indoor hardcourts of the Martin Carpena Arena in Malaga, Spain. The courts could produce a first-time champion as Great Britain, Japan, Poland and Romania are yet to win a title while the rest have at least secured the trophy once. Team USA are on the hunt for a record extending 19th title and the first in seven years. Team Australia are looking for their first title in five decades and have reached the finals twice in the last five years.

Canada and Czechia are the only nations who have fielded four players as the rest have five players in the attack. Injuries have been the major cause for withdrawals as players have been exhausted after having played for 11 months. Canada and Cezchia will hope that their squad receives enough rest between the ties as they cannot afford more withdrawals.
The format of each tie in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2024 will see two singles matches followed by one doubles match. Each nation’s top ranked player will hope to secure the opening match win as the doubles players will aim to seal the final touch for victory. Each nation has fielded a minimum of four and a maximum of five players in the squad as they will be led by their respective captains.
