Carlos Alcaraz vs Karen Khachanov live streaming, TV channel, where & how to watch: ATP Vienna Open 2026
Carlos Alcaraz leads the head-to-head against Karen Khachanov by 6-0
Carlos Alcaraz has been handed a tough first-round draw as he opens his Vienna Open 2026 campaign against Karen Khachanov. The Spaniard enters as the favourite due to his strong record against the Russian, as he leads the head-to-head 6-0.
Their most recent match in Doha was a high-quality contest with Alcaraz prevailing after coming from a set down. This will be their first meeting on indoor hard courts, and the surface suits Khachanov’s game better as he also reached the Vienna final, back in 2024.
Alcaraz comes in on the back of a mixed run of form. He defended his title in Tokyo, his first trophy since returning from a long injury layoff but suffered a shock straight-set loss to Zizou Bergs in Shanghai days later.
The Spaniard has historically struggled in the late-season indoor swing hard and will want to use Vienna to build rhythm and fitness before Paris. Khachanov showed spark at the US Open when he reached the semi-finals but arrives on the back of a quarter-final loss to Alexander Bublik in Almaty last week.
