Top 10 highest-paid female tennis players in 2024
Coco Gauff leads the pack ahead of Iga Swiatek for highest-paid female tennis players.
Tennis players on the WTA Tour continue to rank among the highest-paid female athletes thanks to a combination of generous payout for their on-court exploits. Additionally, these athletes score big with lucrative endorsement deals, contributing to their earnings.
In 2024, Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek feature prominently in the list of highest-paid female tennis players on Tour. Gauff is the only player with over $30 million in earnings this season, with Iga Swiatek in second place, having earned $21.4 million in 2024.
These two big names, along with eight other exceptionally talented women, find themselves among the top earners of the 2024 season. That said, let us take a look at the top 10 highest-paid female tennis players this year.
Highest-paid female tennis players in 2024
1. Coco Gauff – $30.4M ($9.4M winnings, $21M endorsements)
Coco Gauff emerged as the highest-paid female tennis player this year. Her total earnings of $30.4M make her just the third woman to cross the $30 million mark in a single year after Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams.
Gauff pocketed $4.80 million for winning the WTA Finals in Riyadh, the winner’s paycheck from the year-ending event contributing half of the winnings. The rest of her earnings came from endorsement contracts with the likes of New Balance, Head, Rolex and Bose.
2. Iga Swiatek – $21.4M ($8.55M winnings, $13M endorsements)
Iga Swiatek, Poland’s biggest tennis export, won her fourth Roland Garros title and capped off her 2024 season as the World No. #2 in the WTA rankings.
