Jannik Sinner vs Pedro Martínez prediction, betting tips & odds, head-to-head, preview: Wimbledon 2025

World No. #1 Jannik Sinner is yet to reach the final at Wimbledon.
Jannik Sinner’s flawless run at Wimbledon 2025 continued, as he got the better of Aleksandar Vukic in straight sets in the second round. The Italian has been largely untroubled so far and continues to be the most dominant in the ATP section alongside Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
Sinner’s path to the final has opened up significantly following the early exits of Jack Draper and other top seeds. Having dropped just seven and five games in his first and second rounds respectively, and as the only man yet to lose a set at SW19 this year, the top seed is already showing strong signs of emerging as the leading contender for the title.

Preview
Jannik Sinner is looking very strong, and holds his best possible chance to reach a maiden Wimbledon final. He will take it match by match, and is now coming up against Pedro Martínez, who not many would have predicted to qualify for the round of 32.
The Spaniard entered the marquee event on the back of five consecutive losses, making his campaign at Wimbledon 2025 so far, even more impressive. Martinez outsed local hope George Loffhagen in four sets, and then took down Mariano Navone in straight sets.
Martinez will face his first big test against the World No. 1, against whom he has played only once back in 2022, in Rome. However, the Italian was a different player three years ago, and the Spaniard would be vary of the monumental challenge that awaits him.

Match prediction
Sinner has resumed his Grand Slam domination at Wimbledon, with one-sided triumphs one after the other. By far the best player currently, the Italian is unlikely to be taken down by a lower ranked player any time soon.
Martínez has produced some exciting tennis, but his serving has been far from convincing despite his victories. The Spaniard was broken three times, saved seven break points, and failed to hit a single ace, while also committing an alarmingly high number of double faults — five in total, against Argentina’s Navone in the second round.
Although Martínez might trouble Sinner in patches, the Italian is expected to secure his Round of 16 berth with a straight-sets win.
Result: Jannik Sinner to win in straight sets.
